Bifocal Fishing Sunglasses with Built-In +2.5 Magnifiers
Snowbee Spectre Magnifier Sunglasses provide a practical solution for anglers who need additional close-up vision when changing flies, tying knots or working with fine leaders and tippet. Small +2.5 magnifier sections are laminated into the lower part of each lens, creating a discreet bifocal-style design that remains unobtrusive during normal use.
Simply glance down through the magnifier section when close-up detail is required. The lightweight nylon frame incorporates rubber nose pads and rubberised arm tips for improved comfort and grip. These magnifying sunglasses are unpolarised but still provide useful protection from sunlight and glare.
Spectre Magnifier Sunglasses FAQs
How do bifocal magnifier sunglasses work?
The +2.5 magnifier sections sit at the bottom of each lens. You look straight ahead through the normal tinted lens, then glance down through the magnifier when you need close-up detail, for example when tying on a fly or threading tippet.
Are the Spectre Magnifier Sunglasses polarised?
No. They use unpolarised Smoke or Amber tinted lenses, so they reduce brightness but will not cut reflected surface glare in the way polarised fishing sunglasses do. For a quick look, a pair of polarised sunglasses from the Snowbee range will be the better choice.
